What is a house mark?

Before houses had interior designers and mood boards, they had marks. A crest on the silver, initials on the linen, a motif that appeared quietly throughout the home and said: this belongs here, and it was made to last.

The house logo service brings that tradition into the present. Working closely with you, Studio Sewn designs a personal mark - a monogram, a crest, a simple emblem - and embroiders it onto the linen pieces you choose. The result is something that feels like it has always been there.

The Mark

You have an existing monogram, initial, or logo. We handle thread colour consultation, fabric guidance, and production.

Best for: clients who already have a design and want it translated faithfully into embroidery. Choose your own items to add your logo to.

From £80

The crest

We work together to develop your mark from scratch - gathering references, sketching directions, refining until it's right. Then embroider it onto your chosen linen pieces.

This is the full Studio Sewn experience: a design process followed by something entirely handcrafted.
Includes: brief, two to three sketch directions, one round of refinement, production onto a set of linen pieces of your choice.

From £260

The house

A complete linen identity. A designed mark produced across multiple piece types -napkins, guest towels, pillowcases, a bathrobe. Delivered as a cohesive set that tells a consistent story throughout your home.

The kind of commission that becomes part of how a home feels.

From £480

We work on a bespoke quote basis, as every project is entirely unique. Pricing is determined by the complexity of the design, the quantity of linen required, and the overall sizing of the commission.

Enquire

The process

The enquiry

Your chance to share as much or little about what you would like to achieve. Think about what inspires you, colours you're drawn to, any existing symbols or initials you'd like to incorporate.

THE CONSULTATion

We get back to you with further questions, a follow up call if needed or a chance for you to provide a mood board. We then begin thinking about the design and what you're really after.

Design directions

Two or three examples showing different approaches to your mark. This is where the creative work begins in earnest.

refinement

One round of feedback and refinement, then sign-off on the final design before any stitching begins.

Production

Your pieces are carefully handcrafted using fabrics either sourced by us or supplied by you. While we don’t usually share sneak peeks during the process, we’re always happy to provide updates if you’d like to see them along the way.

Delivery

Your commission will arrive carefully wrapped and with a handwritten note from us. If you’ve chosen your piece as a gift, we’d be delighted to include a personal message written in your own words.
